In 2018, after an exhausting eight years in the NY fashion industry, I decided to move back home. In NY I had been working as the Merchandising & Fabric Director at a small women’s clothing company. The job was very demanding (think “Devil Wears Prada”) with high turnover, but I was able to learn what it takes to run your own company.
When I initially moved back to home to Charlotte – I took some time off; I knew I wanted to be back in the fashion industry, but didn’t know where to start. During my time off, I started working with Clay and LOVED IT! Polymer clay really is the perfect medium for earrings because the material is so lightweight, and it can be so different from artist to artist, making each earring super unique and special.
In 2019, I started selling my jewelry and am loving every minute of it! I’m able to utilize the skills I learned in NYC and fuel my passion for creating! When I am not making jewelry, you can find my at my part time retail job – where I love working with customers!
